It was relaxing to hang out at my parents house and around newton. Emery was very popular and got a lot of attention from everyone.
Here some pics:
We finally left my parents and Bean on May 30th. It was a great trip!
life's more fun together
Yup, that’s right, Emery has official turned 4 today. We spent her birthday in Boston and had a family birthday party.
We too a river boat cruise in the morning as part of Eugene’s graduation. The weather was perfect today and Boston was absolutely gorgeous.
Afterwards, my parents took Emery to Boston Garden to see the ducks and a swan boat ride.
In the meantime, Ashley, Eugene, Enzi(Eugene’s BU friend) and I picked up Emery’s cake, party supplies and food for the birthday party.
We surprised Emery with a birthday party at home when she returned and she had so much fun. Emery loves princesses and hello kitty so we have her a well themes party.
Here’s some pics:
Birthday Party:
We have been doing “art projects” at home and she does a lot at school as well. Emery loves doing art and Ashley bought water colors and large paper canvas for her to draw.
Here’s one she drew around 3.5 years old. I love this one. This is as she describes it:
this is an octopus, a cats pillar. That is my name right there and a house. And this down below is a wooshpiper. It’s like a music who bo Ho who (in singing song fashion)
So there you have it
I was really amazed at this recent drawing she brought home on May 13th. The teacher said she did it all by herself. Amazing!
For Mother’s Day I cooked Ashley a surf and turf meal the night before. Then on Sunday we met up with two of our friends from Emery’s old day care at the YWCA for strawberry picking. This was our second time to Southern Belle Farms.
Before we went, we took some pics of Ashley and her girls. What a cute bunch!
